OPERATIONS OF ROPES COURSE

We have over 20 years hands on operational experience of highly successful adventure park and traditional high ropes courses covering both recreational and educational markets on traditional and adventure park ropes courses.

In 2003 under Head 4 Heights Ltd we opened our first site at Cotswold Country Park & Beach. Surviving both the recession, staying ahead of all safety regulations and some extreme weather conditions we became the busiest high ropes educational and recreational site in the Cotswolds receiving TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence in 2016, 2017 and 2018. H4H sold this site to multinational recreational operator PSL in 2019.

In 2009 H4H opened Zooropia at Bristol Zoo. This was the busiest CBS adventure park for 5-12yrs in Europe with the license to operate extend extended continuously over 15 years. Unfortunately the impact of Covid closed the zoos doors after 187 years at the end of 2022.

We are currently seeking new operational and partnership opportunities at both new and existing sites.

AMALIE’S EVEREST

Raising a disabled child is harder than climbing Everest – I know as have done both.

What is Amalie’s Everest?

These are bespoke CPD (Continual Personal Development) days, workshops and public speaking events created to help individuals and organisations become more inspired and empowered to support accessibility and inclusion.

Background of Amalie’s Everest

I believed a real human challenge could be typified by breaking extreme mountaineering world records, such as climbing the highest point of every European Country in the fastest time or the making the first mobile call from the top of the world.

I was wrong. My perspective on life changed in 2009 when my 10-month-old daughter Amalie lost her sight and ability to move overnight. To me what my daughter achieved just by the simple act of breathing on her own and coming off life support, is more inspiring than anything I have done. The challenge of raising a severely disabled child is hard. Enabling disabled people into adventurous activities needs far more than climbing big mountains.

From my learnings on a mountain, to running adventurous activity companies and becoming a high rope rescue training instructor I am hoping to ignite an inner flame to make the world become more accessible and inclusive. Time, experience, training and empathy are only a small part of what’s needed- but a good start!
