ROD BABER

With over 25yrs experience in the industry he has become a leading high ropes course trainer, technical advisor and operator, working with numerous organisations from FSTE 500’s, Armed Forces, In2Action, First Choice, Haven, schools, youth groups, charities and multiple independent activity centres. Additionally he is a skilled facilitator running team building and interpersonal development programmes for multiple organisations across the UK.

Rod has worked as a qualified ERCA trainer for over 15 years and holds ERCA TTT Instructor/ Rescue training certification for all types of high and low ropes courses, for both traditional and recreational activities.

As an ex semi-professional mountaineer he holds world records for mountaineering expeditions in Europe and the Himalayas.

Outside work he is a Duke of Edinburgh and expedition leader covering all training and delivery of gold/silver/bronze expeditions. Expedition work extends to running treks and community projects in Nepal.

He is a key note speaker for businesses and schools covering a broad range subjects based on his climbing world records and inspiration from his disabled daughter. He actively provides support to improve accessibility in the adventure industry and also fundraises for severely disabled children.

TOM FOLEY

Tom’s passion for the outdoors, travel and adventure has led him to work a wide variety of roles all around the world; from zip lining in India, Clifton College Adventure Camp UK to kayak guiding in New Zealand. With this wide experience base he has gained valuable interpersonal skills as well as technical proficiency in rescue and inspection related tasks.

Since returning to the South West and starting as Head Instructor at Head 4 Heights Tom has earned four ERCA qualifications and completed a Lyon Competent Person PPE Inspection course. He also works on a pro rata basis for many Bristol-based activity centres including Clip n Climb and Clifton College.
